Denise Desautels
Denise Desautels is a committed writer. Her works are marked by the awareness of being a woman and of evolving in a literary and artistic milieu. With over 50 published works, Denise Desautels was the first Quebecer to be published in the Poésie/Gallimard collection, with L'Angle noir de la Joie, followed by D'où surgit parfois un bras d'Horizon. In 2022, she received the Prix Apollinaire for her collection Disparaître. Denise Desautels is a member of Académie des lettres du Québec, Parlement des écrivaines francophones, Ordre national du Québec and the Order of Canada.
François Baril Pelletier
With a career as a painter, he combines aesthetics, universal themes and visions of a new reality. He has received several literary distinctions, including Prix LeDroit for his fourth collection, Déserts bleus (2015). From his early works (1995-2009) to his first collections, including Apocryphes du cœur (2010), he has written nearly forty books. Yet, this is his tenth publication - La soif de la soie - which talks about the culmination of a lifetime.
