Ottawa Public Library, in partnership with local culinary presenters, Parkdale Food Centre, Boys and Girls Club Ottawa, and City of Ottawa facilities, is offering a new series of culinary programs hosted in community kitchens across Ottawa. Designed as a preview of the future Demonstration Kitchen at Ādisōke, these programs that celebrate learning, creativity, and community connection, will allow you to explore hands-on culinary traditions, build new skills, and connect through cultural storytelling and food.
“We would like participants to acquire a blend of cultural storytelling and practical techniques, mixed with opportunities to receive sensory experiences and resources they can take home for future creations!” shared Jennifer, Librarian with Program Development.
Participants will also discover OPL's culinary collections and resources, including cookbooks and digital learning tools.
