We’re thrilled to announce that the outstanding works of the 2025 Awesome Authors winners are now featured in the latest edition of Pot-Pourri. This annual writing contest celebrates the incredible talent of Ottawa’s emerging young writers and artists, aged 9 to 18. Organized by Ottawa Public Library (OPL) and proudly funded by the Friends of the Ottawa Public Library Association (FOPLA), the contest highlights imagination, storytelling, and artistic expression at its finest.
Each winning piece appears in the 2025 edition of Pot-Pourri, an anthology showcasing the voices and creativity of local youth. Winners received their own keepsake copy on Saturday, November 29, and you can find or request yours through the OPL catalogue!
