Of the 394 Friends of the Public Library groups across Canada, the Friends of the Ottawa Public Library Association (FOPLA) generated the most revenue. This is only possible thanks to the remarkable dedication and contributions of FOPLA members and close to 300 volunteers. FOPLA believes that the Ottawa Public Library is a critical civic institution and that great cities have great, vibrant libraries.

Ages 0-3
Cuddle up!
Shared reading can be a special time in the day when your child has your attention all to themselves. These cozy experiences help them to associate books and reading with pleasure. Children will often ask to hear the same story over and over again as they seek to recreate the special moments you’ve shared together.
